After drifting from Chicago to Southern California to Idaho and back and forth and in between, this quartet has finally found a happy home in the hills of Portland. They currently have two albums to their name, debuting with //Hangin' Nothin' But Our Hands Down\\ in 2007 and mostly recently wrapping up recording //Apple’s Acre\\. If you're into Animal Collective, Q and not U, or the Born Ruffians, chances are you'll swoon over the Nurses. With swirling floktronic melodies and lush Bohemian beats, the Nurses are sure to find Portland a warm and welcoming home.
